SUMMARY OF APPOINTMENT
BlueLight Fire Engineering was appointed by King’s College Hospital NHS Trust to deliver a 
structured programme of Authorising Engineer (AE) fire safety services. The commission 
commenced on 1 December 2025 and spans 12 months, covering the delivery of the annual AE 
audit, quarterly reviews, and ongoing AE support.

PROJECT BACKGROUND
